Technology Tip of the Month

Sometimes the most difficult part of coordinating partnerships and coalitions is finding a suitable time for everyone to meet. Conference calls are becoming more the norm than the exception but costs can be prohibitive, with a single 30 minute call to 10 participants costing more than $250.

Eight Marketing has researched available alternatives that are now available utilizing the internet. However, those services are limited in that special equipment is needed.

There is now another alternative. Free Conference Call is a reservation less conference call service that allows you to host a call with up to 96 callers. There are no service fees attached; only standard long distance charges incurred for the length of the call. Once registered, a user is given a conference dial-in number, host code and participant code. Users are also able to record calls and play back recorded calls at a later date.

For more information on how to register for Free Conference Call, click here.
