Eight Marketing Completes 5-Year Plan for Smith
Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse

Eight Marketing recently completed a five year marketing plan for Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse.

Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse has been a part of Philadelphia for more than 100 years. The Playground offers children a safe, creative environment for them to visit with their families free of charge. Smith is best known for its Giant Slide, originally added in 1905 and then rebuilt and reopened in July 2005.

Delaware Children's Museum On Track for September Opening

The first state is about to get its first children's museum as the Delaware Children's Museum continues on track to open September 2009 on the Christina Riverfront in Wilmington.

The 37,000 square feet Museum will be Delaware's first and only museum built just for kids, building imaginative minds through creative play and math, science and technology-focused learning experiences.

Most recently, the museum finalized the long-term lease on the property and has taken possession of the building. The exhibits, which have been in the design stage for the past two years, are now ready to go into fabrication.

Eight Marketing continues to work with the museum on public relations, promotions and marketing initiatives.

Technology Tip: Plays Matchmaker

As consumers get harder to reach and alternative media opportunities continue to multiply, it was only a matter of time until a website came along to match audiences with opportunities. That website is is an online database of alternative media opportunities divided by markets, audiences and specialties. The site is used by advertising agencies, alternative media suppliers and corporations to sort through the maze of opportunities and customize programs for strategies. Expansion of the site in the future may include sponsorship opportunities at non-traditional venues (including museums and zoos).
